So I'm attempting to update these things as much as possible. This is an attempt at fooling around in Photoshop and I kind of like the result. The picture to start wasn't the best but I guess thats why I chose this instead of some of the others.

At first I thought spending oh... an hour was a little ridiculous on one photo but seeing what I did I'm starting to see that when someone puts down 4-5 hours on just ONE image I realize, at least a little better, how much actually went into that. Progress? I hope so. After all I need to start somewhere.

So here goes.

I started off cutting the flower and the stem from the original.
Changed the colour Balance to darken the background.
Added a variation on Colour for the flower itself, darkened and blurred the stem.
Used the 'stained glass' feature on the background.
Softened edges.
And here's the result! Sounds pretty straight forward now after going through all the processes (Which are basic, I know) but damn. An hour later and I'm pooped. Just enough left in me to touch up a few others and load them up.
